VANDERBIJLPARK.- The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) Chairman, Jabu Mgcina was a happy man when three of teams his ELFA teams were promoted to SAB League at the end of the Regional Promotion Play-offs that took place at NWU Vaal over the weekend.

The three teams that will campaign in the Safa Sedibeng SAB League in the 2021/2022 season from ELFA are Vaal Manchester, Morning Stars and Sebokeng Mighty Blues FC. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Mgcina said this is remarkable achievement for ELFA in a short space of three years under his leadership.  Mgcina was quick to congratulate the teams that represented ELFA in the Play-offs for being promoted to the SAB League.

“I’m delighted with the continuous growth ELFA has shown over the 3 years of the current leadership term. We have brought stability, consistency, discipline and revived football to be played in every corner of Emfuleni. I’ve been in all four streams to witness mouth-watering competitive football displayed by our clubs. I should commend the clubs who continue to use and expose the underage players during the Super League matches. I wish to congratulate those clubs for gaining promotion to Sedibeng Men’s Regional League and wish them nothing but the best. Lastly let me take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, Manco Milano Construction, Vaal Milling and my fellow ELFA Executive  Members for their commitment and dedication which has made football to be a winner,” said Mgcina.
