Suspect arrested for murder of woman

EVATON.- A suspect was arrested after the Evaton Police received a complaint of murder at Canner Road in Evaton on Saturday.

Upon their arrival they found the body of a woman that was next to the bed. The deceased had sustained bruises on her face and stab wounds on the buttocks.

According to witnesses the deceased was at  a local tavern drinking alcohol when her boyfriend arrived and took her by force, assaulting her on the way to their shack.

The next morning the same witnesses went to check the deceased and she was laying down in a pool of blood and the boyfriend told them that the deceased was on her monthly cycle (periods).

The boyfriend was arrested immediately for murder and will soon appear in the Magistrate court.
