SEDIBENG.-  The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) 2020/2021 season will come to a conclusion this weekend at various venues in Sedibeng.

The Evaton and Sebokeng Streams have finished with their league programmes while the Vanderbijlpark and Boitshepiville Streams are expected to finish their league programme on Sunday. It is not yet clear who will be crowned the league champions in these streams, especially in Vanderbijlpark stream, with the three top teams on the log separated by one point with one game left to go to finish the season.

Atlentico FC is at the summit of the Vanderbijlpark Stream with 36 points while Nale Academy is second placed on the log with 35 points and Waya Waya FC is third on the log with the same number of points as Nale Academy.

However, Sedibeng Ster Sport, is aware that Waya Waya FC has lodged a protest against Atlentico FC for fielding five defaulters when they beat them. The case was heard over the weekend but has been postponed awaiting a report from the match officials who were in charge of the game.

This was confirmed by the League Administrator Teboho Mphaga who said this disciplinary hearing has been postponed.
