SHARPVILLE.- This afternoon, a 68-year-old woman was killed when a large transport reversed over her on Nonkoma Road in Sharpville.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 14h31 to find the local authorities already in attendance. A woman was found lying in the middle of the road.
Medics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained a significant head injury and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for her, and she was declared dead.
