Police look for suspects following business robbery in Vereeniging

VEREENIGING. – The police in Vereeniging are on a hunt for about five armed men who robbed a popular store in Vereeniging. The incident happened on Saturday.

According to police spokesperson Constable Tlaleng Moloi,  the suspects entered the store and started  shooting. “They instructed customers to lie down on the floor. They further fired shots and while shooting went to the jewelry department and emptied cabinets.”

Moloi says jewelry worth an undisclosed amount was seized  during the robbery. Suspects subsequently fled  the scene.
