Sharpeville’s Moremi promoted to PSL

No, doubt Sedibeng is now blessed with players all over the PSL and GladAfrica Championship.

SHAPEVILLE.- Tshepo “Buda” Moremi (19) is another youngster from Sedibeng to make headlines after been promoted to the DSTV Premier Soccer League (PSL) club, Amazulu.

The youngster is one of the players who was outstanding in the MDC for the past two season. This was before Amazulu loaned him to GladAfrica Championship club Pondo Chiefs. At Pondo Chiefs he had an opportunity to rub shoulders with experienced players such as Abia Nale.

This Sharpeville born youngster produced a man of the match performance for Amazulu in a pre-season tournament that was won by Maritzburg United over the weekend. Moremi was impressive with Amazulu coach, Benni McCarthy full of praise for the youngster.

Speaking after the pre-season tournament, McCarthy said the future looks bright for Moremi.   “I really like this youngster and I have no doubt that he will grow as a player because I see lot of potential on him. He must just work hard because at this level it is not only about talent, but hard work. Today he demonstrated that he is willing to work hard, playing like a seasoned campaigner.
Look the future looks great he must just keep on working hard,” said McCarthy.

Moremi started his amateur football with Benfica FC before he went to Rosina Selibane. He also had a short stay with Safa Sedibeng SAB League team, Ghetto Seven FC. Moremi also represented Safa Sedibeng U/15 Regional team at Safa Legacy Junior Tournament in Eldorado Park in 2013. He was playing alongside Sabelo Radebe and Lebohang Lesako when Safa Sedibeng lost on penalties to Safa Johannesburg. No, doubt Sedibeng is now blessed with players all over the PSL and GladAfrica Championship.
