SEBOKENG.- Mangalore ‘Master’ Zondo ploughed back to his former school primary school when his Master Zondo Sports Foundation, in conjunction with Spurs Legends, donated twenty brand new school shoes to Fukama Primary School learners in Sebokeng recently.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Zondo said as soon as he heard that there were learners who were in need of school shoes, he approached his business partners at Spurs Legends. Spurs Legends is a newly registered company compromised with former Hot Spurs FC.
“Some of those learners are soccer players, playing for teams in Sebokeng. I approached my fellow directors who are my uncle’s from the Mtimkulu and Tsolo families and my own family to do something about this situation. I was overwhelmed by their excitement. I want to thank them for buying in to this idea to buy those kids school shoes”, said Zondo.
Zondo added that he was also excited to reunite with his former teachers. Zondo is well known for his commitment in the development of Zone 12, Sebokeng, community, organizing development soccer tournaments in the area.
