SASOLBURG. – ER24 reports that 10 children were injured this morning when their taxi driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off Bouwer Street in Sasolburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 07h00 to find the taxi on the side of the road.
“Several children, aged between 3 and 9, were seen walking around the scene.
“Medics assessed the patients and found that 10 had sustained minor injuries. No serious injuries or fatalities were found.”
The children were treated and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
