Robbers seize R85 000 from potential car buyer in De Deur

According to Police Spokesperson Constable Maria Letsele, the three family members were in the parking lot at one of the car dealerships in De Deur when they were approached by two unknown  armed men.

DE DEUR. – A woman who went shopping for a car recently with two of her family members ran out of luck when two armed robbers seized money she had planned to purchase a car with.

According to Police Spokesperson Constable Maria Letsele, the three family members were in the parking lot at one of the car dealerships in De Deur when they were approached by two unknown  armed men.

“The men ordered them to lie down. The complainant tried to run away but one of the suspects caught her and forced her to lie down. Money to the amount of R85 000 was taken by force from her. The suspects then fled the scene with a white Nissan Sentra without a registration number.”
