“We demand electricity not lies”: Bophelong residents

VANDERBIJLPARK.-  The Bophelong and CW 2, Vanderbijlpark community members have said that they have had enough waiting too long for new electricity transformers.

They coincidentally met with the residents from Muvhango Extensions outside the main gate of the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) recently to demand eletricity supply.

Linda Mavuso from the ELM Speakers office, together with Johana Nqobo  ELM’s Acting Director of the Electricity Department calmed down the angry residents and promised that the residents’ areas would be given attention soon.
Mavuso said currently municipality has run out of transformers.
He assured the residents that transformers will be ordered and replaced as soon as possible.
