Great start for Bafana assistant coach

"These are some of the things we will work on."

SEDIBENG.- It was a great start for assistant Coach, Helman Mkhalele when he led Bafana Bafana to a 3-2 victory over Uganda in an international friendly match at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto yesterday.

Mkhalele was in charge of the team with the new Bafana Bafana Coach, Hugo Broos watching from his home in Belgium, where he is receiving his second Cobid-19 vaccination. It was a great performance for the new look Bafana-Bafana team as they came back from 1-0 to beat the visitors 3-2 in what Mkhalele described as a “fighting spirit”.

As much as he was pleased with his team’s performance, however, Mkhalele beleived they could have done better.

“I think we could have done better in some instances. For example, we were playing back and side instead of passing the ball forward. But these are some of the things we will work on”, he concluded.
