SEBOKENG.- Organiser, Koos Ramaele has hailed the Karate Seminar that was held over the weekend in Boiketlong, Sebokeng, as a great success. The seminar was hosted by the Enshin Karate Club with the spotlight on the art of self-defence.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport after the event, Ramaele, who is also an instructor, said he was overwhelmed by the positive response from the Boiketlong community who came in numbers to support the initiative. Ramaele said COVID-19 regulations were a top priority on the day with the safety of those who participated in the event being taken into account.
“I was motivated to see young and old participating in this martial arts seminar willing to learn more about the sport, especially self-defence. It was a fun filled day with everyone having fun because sport is all about fun, and not necessary competition. I want to thank everyone who made this event a success,” he said.
