The teams are on site assessing the damage and the water supply from Rand Water will be closed for the duration of the repairs.
The estimated timeframe for completion of the repairs is unknown at this stage.
Customers are requested to use Water sparingly for the next few days to maintain the Reservoir levels for as long as possible. Water should only be used for essentials. No filling of pools or irrigation will be allowed.
Communities affected include all Vanderbijlpark suburbs, Bophelong, Tshepiso, Boipatong and Agricultural areas of Vanderbijlpark.
