Thanking our mothers

"This was another  way to say 'Thank you'  to our honourable parents."

SEBOKENG..- It was never too late for women to still celebrate Women’s Day at Shiketa Car Wash Cafe and Butchery in Zone 12, Sebokeng today, Friday  21 May.

The function was hosted by Mzwakhe Mapeyi and Milicent Ramokhoase and guest speakers included, the Principal of Qwelang Primary School, Ms Lehoko,Moyahabo Ramokhoase, Gladys Nxumalo and Hilda Sibaya.

The function was hosted in Ward 33 with about 200 elderly people. The elderly were treated as Very Important People (VIP’s) where they had an  opportunity to enjoy breakfast and lunch.


The aim to invite women was to encourage them to go on doing the good job they are doing in keeping together families.
Mapeyi, the host, said that as a community we need to appreciate the good job that many women are ding out there.
