Pensioner missing

Henning was left behind for his documents to be certified.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Police appeal to members of the public to assist in a search for  76- year-old Jakobus George  who went missing recently.

Henning was last seen on 14 May at around 14.00. He was wearing a green beanie, white jersey and dark blue jacket. He was with other 30 pensioners who came from Kakamas Northern Cape to the New Horizon office, Omega Building, FW Beyersstreet, Vanderbijlpark.

“They were there to collect their pension and provident fund money,” Police said.
The group apparently arrived at the police station around 13:00 to have their documents certified and Henning was left behind for his documents to be certified while others headed to Capitek Bank in Vaalgate to submit their documents.

Around 14:00 Henning had not yet arrived and they started looking for him. The latest information indicates that no one has seen or heard from Henning. Police are appealing to anyone who might have information to contact Vanderbijlpark SAPS or phone on 08600 10111.
