Karate Seminar to be held in Boiketlong

"There is a serious need for our young people to be trained on how to defend themselves against any physical attack."

SEBOKENG.- Kicks will be flying high when the Enshin Karate Club will be hosting Karate Seminar in Boiketlong on May 29. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by club instructor, Koos Ramaele. Ramaele said that the seminar’s aim is to encourage youth to be involved in martial arts.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Ramaele said they are targeting young people to teach them martial arts. He said martial arts is also part of self-defence especially for young women in the community. Ramaele said young people especially young women are victims of crime, abuse and rape in the community hence they encourage them to come in numbers.

“Martial arts is not only about sports but also self-defence. We want to encourage young people to be involved in martial arts. There is a serious need for our young people to be trained on how to defend themselves against any physical attack. We encourage everyone to come to be part of the seminar to get the best martial arts training. We are looking forward to hosting a successful seminar for the Boiketlong young people. Everyone is invited to be part of this seminar for free martial art lessons come May 29,” said Ramaele.

Ramaele pleaded with those who will attend to adhere to COVID-19 regulations and health protocols.
