HEIDELBERG. – Police spokesperson sergeant Thembeka Maxambela says, “It is alleged that on 15th April, the deceased booked into the Guesthouse at around 16:00 and was joined by the suspect at 16:15.
“The suspect joined the deceased in the room where they were drinking together. The suspect was introduced as the boss of the deceased.” Maxambela states that the woman was later found unconscious in the driveway of the Guesthouse.
“A woman who is a resident at the guesthouse saw a lady lying on the driveway. She investigated and found out that the lady was unconscious, she then informed the owner of the guest house about the incident. Emergency services were called to the scene and declared her dead on the scene.
“Thorough investigations by Detective Sergeant Happy Kubheka and Detective Sergeant Musa Maluleke and information received from the community led to the arrest of the suspect.”
