SEDIBENG.- Three people were killed, including two children, and another injured following a collision between two light motor vehicles on the R82 outside Viljeonsdrift on Sunday.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 21h24 to find the Provincial Services already on the scene. One light motor vehicle was found on the road, while a second vehicle was found on the side of the road.
On closer inspection, medics found a woman and a girl, believed to be three years old, lying trapped inside the vehicle. A boy, believed to be seven years old, was lying outside the vehicle. Unfortunately, all three patients had already succumbed to their numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead.
A passenger from the second vehicle was being treated by the Provincial Services. After treatment, the patient was transported to a nearby hospital.
