Reflection Movers Production competition a success

Big prizes were to be won and were divided into the top three.

EVATON.- The Reflection Movers Production hosted a successful dance competition at Evaton Mall in Evaton recently.
The production hosted the competition in conjunction with Evaton Mall, the Gauteng Department of Arts, Culture and Recreation and the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM).
Big prizes were to be won and were divided into the top three, with Creative Minds Performers Artists being crowned the winners while Is’cathulo Sabolova Pantsula Dancers received second prize for their effort. The Rose of Freedom Theatre Production finished third.


Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Peter “Chino” Hlaki hailed the event as a great success.
He said that everyone was the winner, with all the participants receiving certificates of attendance at the end of the event. Hlaki said the project created twenty jobs for unemployed youth and the main aim was to uplift the arts and culture industry in the Vaal.
“We want to make a positive impact to the youth of Vaal. This was a great success, but we wish to attract more sponsors and funders to make this project bigger and better.
“We want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of this project especially our stakeholders,” he said.
