Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) recently posted a notice to residents of a power supply interruption affecting Stephanopark, Bonanne, Bophelong and Bophelong Extensions.
According to ELM this is due to emergency repairs of 11kV breakers at the Town Substation.
The power supply interruption will start at 12H00 and end at 17H00 today, 22 February.
In a statement ELM said: “No guarantee can be given that supply will remain off for the duration of the interruption and therefore, affected customers are advised to treat all electrical circuit and appliances as LIVE at all times.”
