Suspected cable thief critical after electrocution

According to City Power a suspected cable thief was badly injured and taken to hospital after tempering with, and vandalizing a minisubstation ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene on Thursday at 13h15 to find the man lying against a boundary wall. https://twitter.com/CityPowerJhb/status/1352230226047225856 Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained significant burn wounds, leaving him in a critical condition. The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to a provincial hospital for further care. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
