SAPS members engage community

The community chatted freely with the police regarding the problems they encountered at the plots.

VANDERBIJLPARK.- The Barrage Police Station Commander, Colonel Nomakhwezi Sigo always up’s her sleeves to engage with the community members of her policing precinct.


Recently, Sigo and her staff members took to the streets to spread the message about the 16 Days of Activism against women and childern abuse.


They took to the streets of smallholdings that included Vaalhower, Little Egypt, Loch Vaal and the Barrage squatter camp.
The Barrage police officers were also joined by the Vanderbijlpark, Sharpeville, Vereeniging, Indibano VEP and the local Community Policing Forum (CPF) members.
The community chatted freely with the police regarding the problems they encountered at the plots.
