Car crashes into tree leaving man seriously injured

MEYERTON.- A man in his 60s was left seriously injured this afternoon when his light motor vehicle crashed into a tree off Meyer Road in Meyerton.

At approximately 16h00 ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the light motor vehicle on the side of the road against a tree. Midvaal Fire Services had already extricated the man from his vehicle.


Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.
The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
