Speaking about his friend and partner, fellow Urologist Dr Charles Mathe stated that Mohlomi was a humble guy, who had a deep love for his wife, two daughters and family at large. “Khotso has silently closed the door of life and departed from us without the usual handover. He never missed an opportunity to tell you about his wife. He really loved his wife. He was an innovative and creative surgeon. I learnt so much from his phenomenal surgical skills.”

Mathe described Mohlomi as someone who knew exactly what he wanted from life, adding that he was always full of life.

Hospital General Manager Jaco Jacobs says he feared losing staff members to the COVID-19 when the pandemic started. “Today is a very depressing day for the hospital. I lost two doctors exactly two months apart and both their deaths were not due to COVID-19. This is a great loss for the hospital.” Hans Mohlomi speaking for the family said, “We agree on all the attributes said about him. God has never made a mistake. This is a great loss to everyone.”
