Man (36) arrested for trafficking dagga

BOIPATONG.- The concerted efforts of SAPS members to eradicate drug trafficking into Boipatong proved fruitful today, October 20.The Sedibeng SAPS K9 unit upon their duties when posted in the Boipatong policing area yielded positive results by spotting and arresting a suspicious male, at Phase 5, Tshepiso, Sharpeville near an open field. The 36-year-old man was found in possession of 12,15 kg of dagga. He was informed of his rights and was arrested and detained at Boipatong holding cells. Lieutenant Colonel Jeremiah Mapalo applauded the SAPS members for the good work done and he sent a massege to all criminals that they must not take chances in Sedibeng.” We are hard at work and want a crime free zone area for our citizens and young people at large. Those found on the other hand of the law will be arrested.” T suspect will be charged for possession of dagga and will appear before the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate Court on Wednesday, 21 October 2020 .
