VANDERBIJLPARK.- Vaal High School is at a center of sexual misconduct scandal leveled against some educators by students.
After concerns were raised on social media Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi said he has noted with concern the allegations leveled against some educators at Vaal High and on Thursday, 01st October he will be visiting the school.

You know what they did last time we tried to expose them? They issued a warrant of arrest to the teacher that the pupils confide in, they threatened her and accused her of organising illegal marches but they can't even suspend a perpetrator #VaalHighMustFall

In a statement on Thursday the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Sedibeng said they have noted with concern the allegations of sexual advances leveled against some educators at the Vaal High School.

According to the statement on the 30th of September the EFF received phone calls from distressed parents who complained about the growing trend of sexual advances by some teacher at the Vaal High School. “It is alleged that some teacher ask learner out on dates and sometimes go to the extent of forcing themselves on learners to receive marks,” the statement said.
“We have noted the concerns and have deployed the most disciplined and militant revolutionaries to confront these allegations head-on.”
“We want to reassure the residents of the Vaal that it will not be business as usual while there are allegations of this nature at the school.”
