Jerusalem makes Heritage Day complete

SEBOKENG. – As per President Cyril Ramaphosa’s request, the Jerusalem song was danced to on Heritage Day at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14, Sebokeng. “Jerusalema” is a song by South African DJ and record producer Master KG featuring South African vocalist Nomcebo, it has been watched and danced to by millions across the world. The Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex came to a standstill when the aerobics participants, young and old, kicked started the day’s program with the Jerusalem dance. This event was part of celebrating Heritage Day, with aerobics enthusiasts from all over Sedibeng gathering at the venue to take part in the festivities of the day. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Event Organiser, Bontle Photsane hailed the day as a great success. She said that the event was meant to celebrate culture in style by participating in sports. “I want to thank everyone who made this a day a great success. “We really had fun and it was not about winning but celebrating our culture and remembering where we come from as black people especially the young ones,” she said. The winners on the day were presented with trophies and medals for showing their fitness.
