United Meat & Chicken welcomes you to its newly revamped store!

VEREENIGING. – Over the past 21 years, United Meat & Chicken has gained respect as a popular and trusted retailer in Vereeniging’s city centre, where customers could buy a variety of well-priced meat daily. With the store’s coming of age, the management decided it was time to surprise their clients with something totally new: A complete makeover!
The store closed in July for the revamp and reopened on 10 September.
United Meat & Chicken is now even bigger and better and offers customers a wider range of products – whether it’s to top-up your weekly meat, veggie and grocery shopping or just to get a quick snack on the go. Apart from the well-known beef, lamb, pork and chicken counters, a number of delightful new counters have also been introduced. Regular customers will easily spot the newcomers.
“We added a bakery, so there’s freshly baked bread every day, as well as delicious cookies, cakes, muffins and many more – all fresh. We also added a Russian Plant, so apart from other available delicatessen, we now make our own russians and viennas,” says store Manager, Marini Markos. “Our primary goal is to maintain a relationship with our customers and to give them good quality at the best price. True value for their money.”
Although the front entrance is in Vereeniging’s main street at 28 Voortrekker Street, management also opened up the back entrance at Service Lane No.7, Leslie Street for customers’ convenience. Here you will find secure and convenient parking as well as easy access to the store.
United Meat & Chicken was started by Mr Jose Vieira in 1999 and the group has also branched out to Sebokeng and Moruleng, Polokwane.
Apart from striving to always provide the best quality products at the most affordable price to customers, Jose places a high premium on the interests of his employees.
“I highly appreciate our staff who have been so loyal over the years. Some of our staff members have been in service for 20 years and have become part of our family-like group,” he says.
