This is after she beat hundreds of other entrants, making it to the top 100 where she is now a semi-finalist.
Campbell started modelling in primary school.
“I’m a young lady who has always cared about the wellbeing of others. From a young age, I would always be a part of any community projects I could get my hands on.
“I just thought that it would be a great opportunity to become an influencer in my community and hopefully the whole of Gauteng.
“I want to be able to change people’s lives, not by force but just by lending them an ear and actually thinking about what I have to say.
“I sometimes feel like our country is upside down, simply because of lack of communication and unfortunately you can only achieve that in a big way, like if you have a title or form of importance to your name. I intend to be a positive influence not just in my community but nationally. My aspiration for this competition is to win and change the world.”
Campbell hopes that this journey will lead her into to meeting people she can collaborate with, people with the same vision and aspirations as her. “I won’t stop trying until I change the world. I know I can’t do it on my own. It is going to take a lot more than a pageant but it can be done. One way or another, but definitely together, we can.
