This is clear racism: EFF

A Clicks advertisement depicted a black woman’s hair as dry and damaged while a white woman’s hair is depicted as fine and flat.

SEDIBENG. – Economic Freedom Front (EFF) in Sedibeng shut down all Clicks Stores in the area this morning.  This followed the nationwide shut down call from its Commander in Chief, Julius Malema, after a Clicks advertisement depicted a black woman’s hair as dry and damaged while a white woman’s hair is depicted as fine and flat.

The EFF said the store was being racist.

Despite Clicks’ having issued a statement of apology, EFF staged the protests at all Clicks’ stores across the country. Sedibeng Ster visited some of the Clicks Stores in Sedibeng and found them closed. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Bunny Mojatau who is the EFF Regional Commander in Sedibeng said no Clicks store is supposed to operate. He was speaking at a Clicks Store in Vaal Gate, Vanderbijlpark.

“We spoke to the store management and they were very cooperative and agreed to close the store. As EFF our stand is very clear on racism and we won’t compromise when it comes to race. We will continue to protest until something is done to get their attention”, said Mojatau.

Sedibeng Ster couldn’t get the comment from Clicks’ local stores as they were closed.
