SEBOKENG. – Operation “Okae Molao” was recently dominated by the women in blue from SAPS and South African National Defence Force (SANDF) as they paraded behind the Sebokeng Police Station where they were addressed by the Station Commander of Vanderbijlpark, Brigadier Nikiwe Hoaeane in the company of Sebokeng Station, Brigadier Mokoena.
The law enforcement officers were divided into groups before they were dispersed to various areas to start the operation that ended up yielding good results as suspects were arrested for various crimes.
“This shows that women’s can lead the enforcement agencies,” said Hoaeane.
Sedibeng Cluster Commander, Major General Zodwa Molefe encouraged women to take the ‘bull by its horns’ as they stopped and searched community members in the streets of Sebokeng.
