EFF aims to clean the Vaal

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”

EVATON.– “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” …this was aptly how the members of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) explained a project they were involved in over the weekend.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Member of Parliament (MPL) and National Organizer, Patrick Sindane, other members of the red brigade and volunteers recently took it upon themselves to clean a dumping site in Ward 29, Evaton. The dumping site is next to Mashabane Secondary School. Sindane told Sedibeng Ster that the Vaal continues to deteriorate under the leadership of the ruling party and that there is no functioning municipality, however, people can no longer wait and wish for a miracle.
“We are taking it upon ourselves to provide services which the ELM is failing to provide. We will do this every weekend all over the Vaal, and we will not wait for the government. We encourage ordinary community members to clean their areas, there is no one who is coming to help them. There’s no municipality here.” Acting EFF Gauteng Chairperson, Itami Mokwevho and Mzwakhe Mapeyi, EFF Sedibeng Organizer, were also present during the cleaning campaign.
