Midvaal. – Mabaso was a seasoned and grounded leader of the African National Congress (ANC) . Mabaso leaves behind a remarkable legacy for the communities he served.
MLM’s Media Liaison Officer Simon Ratlhagane says, “Cllr Mabaso performed his responsibilities as a ward councillor and a dedicated community leader in Midvaal. The municipality is saddened his passing.
‘As a municipality we have been silenced by the death of a leader and activist who was always committed to the vision of building a prosperous society. Our thoughts are with the family, may they be comforted during this difficult time.
Midvaal has since requested that the media to exercise restraint to allow family and friends to grieve.
“The municipality remains in contact with the family and will information available as soon as any plans pertaining to the burial are available.”
