POTCHEFSTROOM. – ER24 paramedics, along with the JB Marks Fire Services arrived on the scene to find the vehicle parked on the side of the road.
A man was found lying trapped inside the vehicle while three other patients were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that the man inside the vehicle had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.
The three other occupants, two women and a man were assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries. The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
