This comes after two students from the school tested positive for Covid-19.
“The decision was made in consultation with the Health Department, as well as the Education Department. We hope for complete recovery and our prayers are with the pupils and their families,” reads the circular.
The school has announced that the school will be thoroughly sanitized. They also urged the parents and teachers to remain calm. “We do everything in our power to ensure a safe environment for everyone.”
All persons who were in close contact with the two sick learners will be notified, after which the necessary protocol as prescribed by the Health Department will be followed, the school explained.
The school will notify pupils and parents as soon as permission has been obtained to reopen the school.
