This follows a stand-off between them and rightful owners of land yesterday.
Today, Sedibeng Ster arrived on the scene to find the land grabbers scattered around the vacant land.
The group says that the reason why they decided to occupy the land is because of all the criminal activities that happen on the vacant land.
“We are here to make sure that this place is safe. There were so many bodies of people discovered here in the past and as a community, we feel that only we can make this place safe.”
The North Gauteng High Court recently ruled in favour of the rightful owners of land, granting them permission to remove structures that had been erected in the area.
More and more people have however pleaded with law enforcement and the community at large to offer their assistance, saying that Elandsfontein plots are under attack by the invaders.
