Women miss “lips”!

SEDIBENG.- COVID-19 pandemic has caused a lot of business disruptions and beauty and hair industry is not exempted.

Sedibeng Ster finds out from prominent women who are professional in their respective fields, what they missed most about their beauty since lockdown.

Makhosazana Zwane-Siguqa, who is one of the prominent business women from the Vaal said what she misses most is doing hair and nails every two weeks to nothing since lockdown began.

She believes that putting on masks is pointless because working from home and going out just to buy essential.

“Look even then I mostly cover over from head to toe. So I can leave the clothes at the door to shower and wear fresh clothes. I don’t even remember the last time I had lipstick on,” she explained.

Potso Mohami who is football administrators, admitted to Sedibeng Ster that she still apply make-up regardless of the mask. However, she said problem is the lipstick because it stays on the mask. “I just miss putting lipstick”, she said.

“I personally don’t apply heavy make-up, so far I’m okay with masks as they protect us in curving the spread of COVID-19. I encourage every woman out there to wear their masks and lead by example,” Bontle Photsane, who is aerobics instructor.

The television personality, Ntombi Moleme said that she decided to look for stylish face-masks so that she don’t feel deprived to show off her sense of fashion and beauty. “but having sayed this I still miss my lipsticks,” she said.

Mmane Boikanyo, marketing and communication specialist said she hasn’t worn make-up as often during lockdown. “I have probably worn make-up twice due to wearing my mask and I try to avoid anything that might tempt me to touch my face often”, said Boikanyo.
