DE DEUR. – It is not every day that a person gets to live for 10 full decades.
In celebration of this milestone, the family of Sam Letho Sekelewane born on 23/5/1920 recently threw him a lockdown birthday celebration.
His daugughter Matshidiso Khasibe says, “We wanted to throw him a huge birthday party but because of the lockdown regulations, we couldn’t.
Khasibe said that it is very unfortunate that other members of the family couldn’t make it to the celebration.
In attendence at the event was his daughter, son in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The event took place in Dreamland, De Deur plot number 83. The event was treated as a small family affair as there were no guests invited.
