SEBOKENG. – This was made possible through a partnership with Pride Milling, Thebe Investment Corporation, Thebe staff and board members.
The food parcels were distributed to four organisations that were able to identify vulnerable families in the community.
The last part of the handover took place at Etelang Pele Community Services Centre in Zone 11 Sebokeng where 276 food hampers were handed over to families in need.
Thebe Foundation CEO Lehlohonolo Chabeli says, “We have been engaging with an organisation by the name of HIVSA, they introduced us to this centre. We have heard of the good work Etelang Pele is doing and we are here to thank you for the good work you have been doing.”
Chabeli stated that Thebe is a company with a social conscience. Speaking to Etelang Pele staff and management, he stated that the impact they are making in the community is a huge one. “You make a difference, please continue doing what you are doing.”
Chabeli thanked the partners for making the event possible. He also handed over masks for everyone who attended the event.
