Miss SA entrant in hot water over old ‘racially insensitive’ tweets

This comes after the 21-year-old environmentalist from Johannesburg, tweets from as far back as 2013 in which she makes apparently racist and derogatory body-shaming and slut-shaming remarks about other woman surfaced on social media.

Schoombee has apologised for “putting it out into the universe then”.
