Players tested positive for COVID-19 increases

The SAFA regions and Local Football Association (LFA) teams started to lose hope saying they don’t see football resuming any time soon. The coaches, managers and football administrators believed that with the situation stand they don’t think the league will resume this year especially after more players tested positive for COVID-19 in other top leagues in the world.

Some of the SAFA Sedibeng SAB League teams suggested the log leaders NWU Vaal FC to be crowned the league champions. But it is not clear what will happen with those teams at the bottom of the log in terms of relegation taking into consideration that two teams from LFA must be promoted to SAB League  at the end of the play offs. But it is not also clear if there will be enough time for SAFA Regional Promotion Play Offs. Meanwhile, the number of tournaments taking place in Sedibeng is increasing every day.
