Two arrested for dagga possession during stop and search

"The two were immediately arrested and will appear at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate Court soon."

THE BARRAGE. – The Barrage police managed to arrest two suspects on Monday for possession of dagga.

The two, a man aged 56 and a woman aged 33 were travelling on the R42  when they were stopped by three officers, Sergeant Ralesai, Constable More and Constable Patsoane who were carrying out a stop and search. it is believed that the two were on the way to Parys.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Simon Mofokatsane says, ” The officers stopped the vehicle with the two occupants inside. When they searched the vehicle, they found dagga in the rear passenger seat.

“The two were immediately arrested and will appear at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate Court soon.”
