ANC Gauteng welcomes Cuba specialists’ arrival

“The ANC Gauteng welcomes the arrival of the 217 medical specialists from Cuba, as part of international solidarity support in the fight against Coronavirus/COVID19."

SEDIBENG. – The ANC in Gauteng has welcomed the arrival of more than 200 Cuban medical specialists in the country. In an effort to help South Africa, more than 200 Cuban doctors arrived yesterday to help overwhelmed hospitals deal with the spread of the Coronavirus.

“The ANC Gauteng welcomes the arrival of the 217 medical specialists from Cuba, as part of international solidarity support in the fight against Coronavirus/COVID19. These medical specialists will be here to assist our own medical staff so that other chronic patients can also receive some medical attention on a full-time basis,” the party said adding that China has also donated much needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the country in fighting this pandemic.

“The ANC Gauteng is very pleased with the solidarity support received and will continue to appreciate efforts made by any country to ensure the well-being of South Africans.”
