FIFA President Gianni Infantino says football must wait, health first

If what FIFA President Gianni Infantino has said is anything to go by, Kaizer Chiefs is likely to be crowned the Absa Premiership Champions.

Infantino has demand that all league leaders around the world must be declared the winners for this season, this is only if the leaders have played 20 or more games.
Infantino said football must wait, health first.
As things stands, Kaizer Chiefs are the Absa Premier Soccer League log leaders with Bid Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns  second and third on the log respectively.
In fact, before lockdown PSL Chairman Irvin Khoza suggested the league games be plaedy behind closed doors seeing that the teams are left with six games to finish their league programme, but this move was opposed by Safa. Back here at home,  the Emfuleni Local Football Association Association’s (ELFA) Super  League is expected to continue after lockdown. The league was supposed to finish in mid May but ELFA Chairman, Jabu Mgcina said the league will be extended to June.
