Sports personalities join hands in fighting against Coronavirus

The Gauteng Sport Federation have decided to create awareness to "Stay at home" to keep the spread of the Coronavirus and encourage communities to adhere to Lockdown.

Some of the sports personalities who have since joined hands for this campaign  include Ria Ledwaba and Banyana Banyana captain Janine van Wyk. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by the Gauteng Sport Federation 2nd Vice President,  Moorina Ramathula. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Ramathula said the federation decided to creat the campaign followed some of the incidents with people ignored South African President Cyril Ramaphosa plea to stay at home for the next 21 days. “We as Gauteng Sport Federation we appeals to all South African to adhere to lockdown to safe our country. This is deadly disease and we plead to our communities to take care of themselves by staying home.
