GAUTENG. – In the midst of uncertainty, the Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshega says that 2020 Matriculants will write their final exams. “By hook or crook they are writing this year,” Motshekga said.
Motshekga was today giving feedback on the state of affairs following the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic and the 21 day lockdown as announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Motshekga further said that the school year could not go to waste not only for Matrics but for the rest of the grades as well, adding that she was not sure if schools would reopen at the end of the lockdown.
