SEBOKENG.- Sebokeng Hospital’s communication officer Lerato Sedulawesi has labelled a voice note that is currently making rounds on Social Media as fake news. “The hospital currently has no confirmed cases of Covid-19 (Corona Virus). An investigation is currently underway to find out who is making such careless statements and circulating them on Social Media.” Sedulawesi said that while the community should not be in a state of panic, they should continue to take all the necessary precautions as advised by health officials. “Corona virus is something that should be taken seriously and we therefore advise people against turning this serious matter into a joke by spreading fake news or joking about it.”
