Two mutilated bodies found

EVATON.- In a space of only six days, the Evaton Police made a discovery of two disfigured male bodies.

The Evaton Police are investigating two cases of murder, after two bodies were discovered in their policing precinct recently. Police Spokesperson, Captain Aubrey Moopeloa, said that one body was discovered in a stream near the Evaton Cemetery while another was discovered at the disused and dilapidated Zone 7, Sebokeng Stadium toilets. Both discoveries were made by community members passing by. Moopeloa said that they believe that the two deceased were victims of mob justice as there were visible injuries on the body that was found in Zone 7 and wires and ropes were tied around its hands, legs and neck.
The body found in Evaton, was in a decomposed state. “We firmly discourage members of the public from taking the law into their own hands. Where there is any crime committed, they should come forward and report the perpetrators. The members of the public can be in trouble with the law, if it is found that they had a hand in the death of a person due to mob justice.” Moopeloa called on members of the public who might have information on the murders to come forward, to contact the Evaton police or to call 10111.
Investigations continue.
