SEDIBENG.- The Midvaal Local Municipality’s offices will be closing on the 24th December 2019 and re-opening on the 02nd January 2020.
The municipality said that during this period, most vacant land within its jurisdiction will be prone to land invasion threats.
“The Municipality is, therefore, appealing to property owners of vacant stands to monitor their properties to avoid illegal land grabs. Property owners who will be going away during the holiday period should request their neighbours to keep a watchful eye on their properties and report any suspicious activities to the nearest South African Police Services (SAPS) and the Municipality’s Digicall Center on the details below.”
