The Vaal’s stars shine bright at national red carpet event!

Four well-known artists from the Vaal Triangle were honoured with top awards at the recent Annual SA Country Music Artist Foundation (SACMAF) Awards that took place at Lakeside Lapa in Centurion.

Vernon Muso walked away with the award as Contemporary Artist of the Year (male); Carlo Leone received the award as Crossover Artist of the Year (Gospel) and the Prestige Award went to Charles Rudd for his Contribution to Country Music in South Africa.
Karlien Husselman, who recently moved to the Vaal Triangle, received two awards: Songwriter of the Year as well as Original Single of the Year.
Well-known radio personality, “Cousin” Rick Emdin of IFM102.2, was Master of Ceremonies of this prestigious black-tie, red carpet event.
